Comesperma retusum Labill. APNI* 
Description: Shrub to 1.5 m high, sparsely branched but with clusters of erect branches above; stems pinkish, ± warty.
Leaves oblong, 5–15 mm long, 2–3 mm wide.
Racemes terminal, up to 1 cm long, usually somewhat corymbose, often on short branches near the top of the stems; pedicels 5–8 mm long. Flowers 4–8 mm long, purple- or lilac-pink. Outer sepals 2–3 mm long, c. a third to a half as long as the wing sepals; wing sepals mostly 6–8 mm long. Lateral petals same length as keel; keel pouched at sides.
Fruit obovate-cuneate, 9–12 mm long.
Flowering: September–March
Distribution and occurrence: Chiefly grows in permanently wet places, usually above 600 m alt., but occasionally in coastal swamps.
