Description: Erect shrub to 1.5 m high.

Leaves simple, angular-obovate, 0.3–0.6 cm long, 3–5 mm wide, apex 3–5-toothed, base cuneate or rarely attenuate, margins entire, revolute, hirsute; petiole 5–8 mm long.

Flowers solitary; pedicels 4.5–7 mm long. Sepals 4, lanceolate, 1.5–2.6 mm long, persistent. Stamens not seen. Ovary densely pubescent. Capsules 3-, rarely 4-winged, 11–15.5 mm long, 12–17 mm wide, villous; wings 2.5–4.5 mm wide.

Distribution and occurrence: in dry sclerophyll forest or heathland on granite and sandstone; confined to the Stanthorpe-Wallangara-Torrington area and Copmanhurst district.
