Eragrostis capensis (Thunb.) Trin. APNI*

A specimen of Eragrostis from near Tenterfield (Northern Tablelands) held at the Australian National Herbarium (CANB) has recently been determined as E. capensis, which is native to Africa and Madagascar. This is a new record for Australia and NSW. the status of this species in NSW requires further assessment.
