Glaucium corniculatum (L.) Rudolph APNI*

Synonyms: Chelidonium corniculatum L. APNI*

Description: Erect or spreading annual to 1 m high.

Leaves to c. 15 cm long, pinnately lobed, the lobes toothed, roughly hairy; lower leaves shortly petiolate, the upper leaves sessile.

Petals 2–3 cm long, crimson (or yellow), or red to orange with a black or dark spot at base, readily shed.

Capsule 10–25 cm long; seeds numerous.
