Ipomoea plebeia R.Br. APNI*
Description: Annual with twining branches, moderately pilose.
Leaves with lamina ovate to ovate-oblong, 3–8 cm long, 1–5 cm wide, apex acute to obtuse, base deeply cordate, margins entire, sparsely pilose; petiole 1–6 cm long.
Inflorescence 1- or rarely 2-flowered. Corolla funnel-shaped, white, with hairy mid-petaline bands; 1–1.2 cm long; limb 0.7–0.9 cm diam.
Capsule depressed-globose, 7–9 mm diam., 2-locular, splitting into 4 valves; seeds pubescent with slightly longer hairs on the ridges.
Flowering: throughout year.
Distribution and occurrence: Mainly a weed of cultivation; north from Grafton district, also near Yetman.
