Lepidium oxytrichum Sprague APNI*
Description: Ephemeral or annual herb mostly 10–30 cm high, mature stems often purple.
Basal leaves pinnate to 2-pinnate, to 10 cm long; stem leaves reducing to remotely toothed.
Inflorescence an elongating raceme. Sepals c. 1 mm long. Petals absent. Stamens 4 or rarely 3 or 2. Silicula elliptic to obovate, c. 5 mm long, c. 4 mm wide, with scattered acicular hairs; wings in upper half obtuse, forming an open notch; pedicel erect to spreading, 3–4 mm long, ± hairy.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread in arid and semi-arid regions.
