Description: Erect perennial to 60 cm high.
Leaves terete, to 15 mm long, succulent, glaucous, glabrous.
Flowers solitary, bisexual. Fruiting perianth with a spongy, cup-shaped tube c. 6 mm high; wing c. 10 mm diam., glabrous, entire, no obvious venation, no radial slit. Uncommon, on rocky slopes and ranges.
