Mollugo verticillata L. APNI*
Description: Diffuse annual herb to c. 30 cm high.
Leaves to 30 mm long, whorled, the smallest terminal ones reduced and linear.
Perianth segments c. 3 mm long, obtuse, greenish with a membranous margin. Stamens 3.
Capsule obtuse; seeds numerous, brown, with 3 or more ridges along the keel.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread but uncommon, rare in N.S.W.
NSW subdivisions: NC, CC, NWS, ?CWS
Other Australian states: Qld Vic.
