Nephrolepis exaltata Schott APNI* Description: This species is widely cultivated and has been reported as being naturalised in the Sydney area, however we have no naturalised specimen collections to confirm this. Differs from N. cordifolia in the absence of root tubers, having uniformilly coloured rachis scales, usually less crowded and non overlapping pinnae and rounder indusia (see genus key).
