Description: Annual herb with a number of spreading, decumbent branches; sparsely appressed-hairy.

Leaves narrow-oblanceolate to linear, 1–3.5 cm long, to 2 mm wide, sparsely hairy.

Sepals 5, linear-lanceolate, c. 2 mm long, elongating to 3 or 4 mm in fruit but not thickened and remaining erect. Corolla to 2 mm diam., white. Mericarps usually 4, triangular to ovoid, c. 2 mm long; outer face strongly wrinkled with a coarse reticulum.


Flowering: spring.

Distribution and occurrence: chiefly from West Wyalong to Hay, uncommon.

Grows in damp places.
