Polycarpaea corymbosa (L.) Lam. APNI*

Description: Erect herb, usually pubescent.

Leaves filiform, 3–12 mm long, c. 0.5 mm wide, glabrous or almost so; apex mucronate to aristate; stipules 2–4 mm long.

Inflorescence leafless; bracts 2–4 mm long. Sepals 2–3 mm long, margins occasionally sparsely ciliate. Sepals thickened and with a ± reddish triangular patch at the base. Petals c. 1 mm long, free. Stamens 0.5–0.7 mm long.

Capsule 1.1–1.6 mm long.
