Ranunculus dissectifolius F.Muell. APNI*
Description: Perennial.
Petioles and lower surface of leaves densely pilose with long spreading hairs, upper surface of lamina nearly glabrous.
Flowering stems unbranched, 6–25 cm high. Leaves with lamina 10–45 mm long; petiole 2–12 cm long. Flowers 15–32 mm diam. Petals 6–14, narrow- to broad-obovate with cuneate base, 7–16 mm long, 3–7 mm wide.
Achenes 40–100, 2–2.5 mm long, the sides smooth, marginal ridge not prominent, beak stout, straight or incurved, 1–1.8 mm long.
Flowering: summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in alpine and subalpine bogs and wet grassland; Kosciusko plateau.
