Ranunculus trilobus Desf. APNI*
Description: Annual, nearly glabrous.
Flowering stems to 50 cm high.
Basal leaves with lamina c. 1–4 cm long and equally wide, entire or lobed; upper leaves ternate, segments obovate with cuneate base, toothed or more deeply dissected into oblong or linear lobes; petiole 3–12 cm long. Flowers 8–15 mm diam. Petals 3–5, elliptic.
Achenes 2–3 mm long with short blunt tubercles on the lateral faces, and a short beak.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Naturalized in the Leeton district. Native of S Eur.
