Description: Epiphyte with photosynthetic roots c. 1 mm diam., terete.

Inflorescence 0.7–5 cm long, 2–16-flowered; rachis shorter or longer than peduncle, glabrous; pedicel plus ovary 1–1.5 mm long.

Flowers tubular, opening successively, 1 or 2 at a time. Ovary smooth or tuberculate. Sepals and lateral petals narrow-triangular, recurved towards the tips, united for varying distances from their bases, 1.5–2 mm long, white to pale green. Labellum about as long as sepals, entire or obscurely lobed, with an incurved, filiform tip; spur globose to ovoid or obovoid, c. 1 mm long. Column < 1 mm long; wings oblong, incurved in front of the stigma.


Flowering: June–October

Distribution and occurrence: Grows on outer branches and branchlets of rainforest trees; coast and coastal ranges, from sea level to 250 m alt., north from the Bellinger R.
