Description: Slender climber with ± succulent stems, glabrous, dioecious.
Leaves variable in shape, lamina usually triangular-ovate to broad-triangular, 4–10 cm long, 2–8 cm wide, rather thin, base mostly cordate to truncate; petiole 1–8 cm long, upper pulvinus small or absent.
Inflorescence not branched, mostly 4–8 cm long, borne amongst the leaves or sometimes appearing when plant is leafless.
Distribution and occurrence: in dry rainforest north of the Richmond R.; rare.
