Tetratheca shiressii Blakely APNI* 
Description: Ascending to decumbent undershrub, 30–75 cm high; stems ± ridged, some glabrous, some densely tuberculate-hairy.
Leaves of glabrous branches opposite or in whorls of 3 or rarely 4, linear, usually 10–20 mm long and ≤ 1 mm wide, margins revolute; leaves of pubescent branches usually in whorls of 3 or 4 or rarely 5, occasionally opposite, broad-elliptic to ovate or subcircular, 4–12 mm long and to 6 mm wide, margins flat, undulate or ± revolute; ± sessile.
Flowers solitary; peduncle 5–12 mm long, ± glabrous. Sepals 3–6 mm long. Petals 10–20 mm long, deep lilac-pink. Ovary hairy; ovules 4.
Fruit obovate, ± stalked, 7.5 mm long; seeds not seen.
Flowering: mostly July–October
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in heath in rocky, sandy or swampy sites; Watagan S.F. to the Bulli area, but not collected from the Hawkesbury R. to Port Hacking R.
