Description: Shrub 1.5–3 m high, ± glabrous, branches slender, ± viscid.

Leaves narrow-linear, 10–20 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, tapering at base, margins strongly revolute.

Flowers small; peduncles 1–2 mm long; bracts 4–7, 1–1.5 mm long, thick, narrow, unequal. Perianth segments 2–3 mm long; male segments ovate-oblong; female segments ovate to triangular, not enlarging under capsule. Ovary glabrous; styles shortly united or almost free, deeply bifid or trifid.

Capsule 6–8 mm long, glabrous.


Flowering: most of the year.

Distribution and occurrence: Widespread inland in eastern Australia. ST, CWS, NWP, SWP; Qld; Vic.

Found in Callitris woodland and mallee communities.
NSW subdivisions: NT, ST, NWS, CWS, NWP, SWP
Other Australian states: Qld Vic.
