Description: Small shrub or tree 1–8 m high.

Leaves terete, not grooved.

Rachis white-woolly-pubescent.

Fruit 1.7–3.2 cm long.


Flowering: Flowers predominantly October–December, sporadically in other months.

Distribution and occurrence: Occurs in central and south-eastern arid and semi-arid Australia in all mainland States and Territories, except W.A. and A.C.T.

Grows in a wide range of grasslands, shrublands and woodlands, in sandy to clay soil.
NSW subdivisions: NWP, SWP, NFWP, SFWP
Other Australian states: Qld Vic. S.A. N.T.
