Description: Terrestrial herb.
Leaf 8–18 mm long, 8–12 mm wide, upper surface dark green, lower surface reddish purple.
Raceme 4–10 cm high, 1–5-flowered. Flowers 5–7 mm long, translucent, pinkish with a dark labellum. Dorsal sepal ovate, cucullate, 5–7 mm long, 3–3.5 mm wide. Lateral sepals linear to oblanceolate, 6–6.5 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, with a red central stripe; apical point c. 2 mm long. Petals narrow-ovate to lanceolate, c. 3 mm long, c. 1 mm wide. Labellum ovate to lanceolate, distal margins strongly recurved, broad-ovate to cordate when flattened, c. 3 mm long, c. 1.8 mm wide, acuminate; callus thick, fleshy, papillose near the apex.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows under sparse scrub on coastal headlands near Tathra.
