Description: Glabrous twiner with stems c. 0.5 mm thick; haustoria commonly less than 1 mm long.

Flowers and fruits sessile in crowded heads. Bracts and sepals neither ciliate nor fimbriate.

Fruit glabrous 3–6 mm long, green, yellow to reddish.
