Description: Climber with stems 1–2 m long, sparsely branched; stems ridged with appressed hairs between ridges.

Leaves oblanceolate, 8–30 mm long, thick, often reduced or caducous.

Racemes terminal, 5–7 mm long on short side branches; pedicels c. 3.5 mm long. Flowers 5–8 mm long, greenish yellow. Outer sepals 2–2.5 mm long, c. a third as long as wing sepals; wing sepals up to 6 mm long, clawed. Lateral petals spathulate, longer than keel; keel pouched with 2 lateral lobes.

Fruit long-cuneate, 20–30 mm long.
