Cryptandra lanosiflora F.Muell. APNI*

Description: Much-branched, often stunted shrub mostly < 30 cm high; stems hairy with simple hairs.

Leaves linear, mostly 2–4 mm long, 1–2 mm wide, margins usually strongly revolute, upper surface glabrous or sparsely hairy; stipules minute.

Inflorescence spike-like, usually on short lateral branches. Flowers c. 5 mm long, densely whitish tomentose; lower part of hypanthium covered by dark brown overlapping bracts.

Flowering: spring to summer.

Distribution and occurrence: In heath and open forest on exposed rocky sites at higher altitudes on the escarpment, north from Werrikimbee N.P., also collected from the Liverpool Ra.; rare.
