Description: Erect shrub to 2 m high, with thick velvety stellate tomentum.
Leaves with lamina ovate to lanceolate, mostly 1–5 cm long.
Flowers solitary, peduncles 4–20 mm long. Corolla 6–10 mm long, yellow.
Fruit 4–6 mm diam., conical in the centre; mericarps 5, shortly stellate-hairy, wrinkled on the back, honeycombed on sides.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on rocky hill slopes.
